Human Resources interview questions
Most medium and large companies will have a human resources department to look after the day-to-day running of all people working within the company. The duties of a human resources job include: looking after staff welfare; ensuring staff disputes are resolved; the hiring of new staff; ensuring government staffing regulations are fulfilled and that wages are successfully negotiated.
Working in human resources is highly people based and therefore human resources job interview questions will try to discover how you deal with people and how you cope with interpersonal problems that may arise in the workplace.
The human resources interview process will look to test negotiation skills, your ability to overcome difficult and stressful situations, your knowledge of employment legislation.
These interviews often include a role play exercise as a practical example of how you deal with people in different situations.
